U-M Spring Commencement is scheduled for Saturday, April 30 at Michigan Stadium. Gates will be open at 8:00 AM and the ceremony will last from approximately 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. During this time, all streets except Kipke Drive and East Keech Street will be open to traffic as usual. Kipke Drive will have restricted access while East Keech Street will remain 2-way traffic with limited access. A heavy volume of graduate and guest foot traffic is anticipated from Central Campus to Michigan Stadium, and traffic congestion should be expected in the stadium area between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Ann Arbor City Police will manage traffic and pedestrian flow at the South Main Street and Stadium Boulevard intersection. U-M Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) will provide round trip shuttle service from all major hotels, designated surface lots, and parking structures.
