U-M Spring Commencement is scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at Michigan Stadium. Gates will be open at 8:00 AM and the ceremony will last from approximately 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. Kipke Drive will have restricted vehicular access while East Keech Street will remain 2-way traffic with limited access. Stadium Boulevard remains under construction near Michigan Stadium and is closed to through traffic between South Main Street and Kipke Drive. A heavy volume of graduate and guest foot traffic is anticipated from Central Campus to Michigan Stadium, and traffic congestion should be expected in the stadium area between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Ann Arbor City Police will manage traffic and pedestrian flow at the South Main Street and Stadium Boulevard intersection. U-M Logistics, Transportation & Parking (LTP) will provide round trip shuttle service from all major hotels, designated surface lots, and parking structures.
