Beginning Monday, June 16 and lasting until July 1, 2015, Church Street between Hill Street and South University Avenue will be closed to northbound traffic for utility work and placement of a crane to construct an apartment building at 624 Church Street (above Pizza House). Northbound traffic will be detoured at Hill Street westbound to northbound East University Avenue to South University Avenue and eastbound back to Church Street. Southbound traffic will be maintained and access for local traffic allowed between Willard Street and Hill Street. Pedestrian traffic will be detoured to the east sidewalk around the construction area.
