Beginning Monday, November 6, Church Street between South University Avenue and Geddes Avenue will be closed to through traffic in both directions for storm sewer and concrete work. Northbound and southbound through traffic will be detoured via South University Avenue, Washtenaw Avenue and Geddes Avenue. Local access to the Church Street Parking Structure west entrances will be maintained from the south on Monday.
Then beginning Tuesday, November 7 and lasting through Saturday, November 11 (weather permitting), Church Street will reopen to through traffic in the southbound direction only with one lane of traffic being maintained through the construction area. The northbound traffic detour will continue on South University Avenue, Washtenaw Avenue and Geddes Avenue. See attached maps for vehicle detour routes.
