Beginning on Tuesday morning, July 9, and expected to be complete by the late afternoon, Hill Street, between East University Avenue and Church Street, will be closed for utility connections; it’s expected the road will open back up in the late afternoon. Eastbound traffic will be detoured south onto East University Avenue, east on Oakland Avenue and north on Church Street back to Hill Street. Westbound traffic will be detoured south onto Church Street, west onto Oakland Avenue and north onto East University Avenue back to Hill Street. Local residents will have access maintained at all times. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on both sides of Hill Street.
