Several roads will be closed to traffic on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 3:30 PM to 11:00 PM for two special events: the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Block Party and the Plumbers and Pipefitters 5K race.
The United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters Block Party will close:
- South Main Street between William Street and Huron Street
- Liberty and Washington Streets between South Ashley Street and South Fourth Avenue
The Plumbers and Pipefitters 5K will close:
- East Liberty Street from South Main Street to South State Street (extended from above)
- South State Street between North University Avenue and East Washington Street
- North University Avenue – northern/westbound lanes
- East Washington Street – southern/eastbound lanes
