South State Street and Eisenhower Parkway traffic controls for repaving and sidewalk replacement

Beginning on Monday, June 15, and lasting through Saturday, July 11, temporary traffic controls will go into effect on South State Street from I-94 to Eisenhower Parkway and on Eisenhower Parkway from South State Street to Boardwalk Drive for sidewalk ramp replacement and road repaving.  Traffic will be maintained with at least one lane of traffic in both directions around the work zones.  Toward the end of the project, there will be two separate days of milling and paving.  During the milling and paving operations, traffic will experience intermittent delays at the South State Street/Eisenhower Parkway intersection and at cross streets.  Once known, the exact dates of the milling and paving days will be shared with the community.  During construction, access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and pedestrians, and to driveways, to the full extent possible.
