Anticipated to begin Monday, November 26, and lasting through Friday, February 1, South State Street between Granger Avenue and Stimson Street will be closed to vehicular traffic for ongoing installation of a high voltage duct bank by DTE. South State Street northbound lanes between Oakbrook Drive and Stimson Street will also be closed. Local businesses will have access to their driveways, which will be maintained at all times.

Southbound South State Street traffic will be detoured south on Packard Street, west on East Stadium Boulevard, south on South Industrial Highway, west on Stimson Street and back to South State Street. Northbound South State Street will be detoured east on East Eisenhower Parkway, north on South Industrial Highway, east on East Stadium Boulevard, north on Packard Street and back to South State Street. Southbound traffic will be maintained on South State Street between Stimson Street and East Eisenhower Parkway. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on both sides of the road.
