Beginning Tuesday, May 6 and lasting until summer 2015, Thompson Street between East Madison Street and Kennedy Drive will be closed to all vehicular traffic for construction activities associated with the renovation of West Quad as well as the ongoing Munger Graduate Residences project. This section of Thompson Street will also close to all pedestrian traffic beginning Wednesday, May 7. Access to Kennedy Drive and the east entrance of the Thompson Street Parking Structure will be maintained from the north on Thompson Street. East Madison Street between Thompson Street and South State Street will remain closed to vehicular traffic until late May for ongoing utility construction in the roadway.
