On Monday, June 19 from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM, Church Street will be closed to all vehicle traffic on the north side of the intersection with South University Avenue to allow for emergency installation of a new water main. Southbound traffic will be detoured via Washtenaw Avenue to South University Avenue to Church Street. Northbound traffic will be directed east on Willard Street to South Forest Avenue. Pedestrian through-traffic will be maintained on one side of the street at all times. Pedestrian access into businesses will be maintained with the use of temporary surfaces (e.g., rubber mats).
