Beginning on Monday morning, October 7, and expected to last through Monday, November 18, both southbound lanes on Washtenaw Avenue between Zina Pitcher Place and Geddes Avenue will be closed. North and southbound traffic will be maintained with one lane in each direction in the Washtenaw Avenue northbound lanes between Zina Pitcher Place and Geddes Avenue.
During this time, left turns onto Palmer Drive from northbound Washtenaw Avenue will be prohibited and vehicles will be detoured to northbound Zina Pitcher Place, westbound to East Ann Street, southbound to Glen Avenue and eastbound East Huron Street back to Palmer Drive.
In addition, left turns onto westbound Geddes Avenue from northbound Washtenaw Avenue will be prohibited. Traffic will be detoured northbound on Observatory Street back to Geddes Avenue. Left turns onto Geddes Avenue from southbound Washtenaw Avenue will also be prohibited. This traffic will also be detoured northbound on Observatory Street back to Geddes Avenue.
