Below the slab, a ½” flex conduit connects to a “2 gang” deep junction box with a cover, positioned near the ceiling. This conduit is described as long enough to allow the speaker to be mounted within a ceiling tile, with a maximum extension of 6 feet. The speaker is mounted flush to ceiling tile. A note mentions that speaker wire is supplied and terminated by an electrical contractor.
