Detail Text Description
Two schematic diagrams illustrating lab DDC (Direct Digital Control) architectures for Phoenix and Siemens. Each diagram shows a flow of connections starting with local area networks and moving through various integrators, switches, and servers, ending at a BAS (Building Automation System).
The top diagram details the “PHOENIX LAB DDC ARCHITECTURE” starting from a Lonwork Proprietary Protocol Local Area Network connecting to a Phoenix RMI Room Integrator and UPS. It connects through Ethernet to an Ethernet Switch, continuing to a Siemens BACnet Virtual Server, and finally reaching the BAS with an Apogee Insight P2 Front End Panel.
The bottom diagram describes the “SIEMENS LAB DDC ARCHITECTURE.” It begins with a BACnet MS/TP Field Local Network connected to Siemens PXC/PXM and UPS, linked through Ethernet Switch, and ending similarly with a Siemens BACnet Virtual Server and BAS with Apogee Insight P2 Front End Panel.
Each network includes two channels, and instructions for lab controllers indicated by lines and arrows.
