On Friday, October 9, from 2:00 PM until midnight, North University Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic between South State Street and South Thayer Street for a local business-sponsored “Homecoming Block Party”. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained. Both the Ann Arbor Area Transit Authority (http://www.theride.org) and U-M Transportation Services (http://www.pts.umich.edu) will be modifying some bus routes to accommodate the street closure.
