Beginning Monday, May 1 and anticipated to last until mid-August, eastbound South University Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic for streetscape improvements and underground utility work. Eastbound South University Avenue traffic will be detoured south on East University Avenue, east on Willard Street, and north on South Forest Avenue to Washtenaw Avenue. Westbound traffic will be maintained. Pedestrian traffic will be maintained on one side of the street at all times.
