Anticipated to begin Monday morning, January 14, and last through Wednesday, January 23, South University Avenue will be closed between East University Avenue and Church Street to disassemble a crane.
Eastbound South University Avenue will be detoured to southbound East University Avenue to eastbound Hill Street to northbound Church Street. Westbound South University Avenue will be detoured to southbound Church Street to westbound Hill Street to northbound East University Avenue.
Pedestrian access will be maintained on the south side of South University Avenue, and pedestrian traffic on the north side of South University Avenue will be detoured to the south side.
On Tuesday afternoon, January 15, its also expected that the intersection of East University Avenue and South University Avenue will also be closed for a few hours. During that time, flaggers at the South University and Tappan Street intersection and East University Avenue and Hill Street intersection will be detouring traffic.
