Anticipated to begin Monday morning, May 6, and last through Thursday, May 30, the intersection of East Hoover Avenue and Greene Street will be closed in all directions for utility, road and sidewalk improvements. E. Hoover Avenue will also be closed in both directions between Greene Street and South Division Street. E. Hoover Avenue’s westbound lane will be closed between S. Division Street and South State Street.
Eastbound traffic on E. Hoover Avenue will be detoured north on Main Street, east on Hill Street and south on S. Division Street to E. Hoover. Westbound traffic on E. Hoover Avenue will be detoured north on S. State, west on Hill Street and south on South Main Street to E. Hoover Avenue. Please see the detour map.
Local access to parking lots SC11 and SC37 and loading dock SC15 will be maintained by the contractor; however, access will be intermittent and drivers can expect delays. Pedestrian access will be maintained along E. Hoover Avenue.
