Beginning Monday, September 12, West Huron River Drive will be closed to through traffic in the east and west bound directions between Bird Road and North Main Street for pavement replacement and slope stabilization. During this time traffic will be detoured around the construction work zone/closure area using North Main Street, Miller Avenue and North Maple Road. See attached vehicle detour map for details. Traffic using Bird Road, Warrington Drive and Foster Road will be directed to North Maple Road via West Huron River Drive west of the closure. Parking on the road will be prohibited. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be complete by Wednesday, October 12, and the road reopened to traffic at that time.
