About the Project
This project will revitalize approximately 24,000 square feet of space on the first floor of the Literature, Science, and the Arts (LSA) Building. An addition of approximately 21,000 gross square feet will provide space for the College of LSA’s internship program and for an Opportunity Hub for students to explore the connection between their liberal arts education and their goals and aspirations. The LSA internship program will include relevant student services such as access to internships, funding, employers and alumni to allow LSA students to engage in opportunities throughout their undergraduate experience. The spaces are designed to encourage interaction and be open, welcoming, vibrant and student-focused. There will be a temporary loss of some adjacent parking spaces during construction, and the project will permanently displace 15 parking spaces.
Schedule
Construction is underway and the project is expected to be complete winter 2020.
