Detail Text Description

A technical drawing showing three different methods for mounting signs. Each section is labeled: Turf, Asphalt, and Concrete surfaces. The drawing includes detailed specifications such as dimensions, materials, and assembly instructions.

  1. Sign Mount – Turf: The left diagram displays a sign post inserted into turf. It features a 1.5″x1.5″ unistrut galvanized tubing with 7/16″ diameter holes. The 1.75″ square tubing is situated 30 inches above the turf.

  2. Sign Mount in Asphalt: The central diagram illustrates a sign post set into asphalt and concrete. It uses 1.5″x1.5″ and 1.75″x1.75″ unistrut galvanized tubing. The assembly includes a 1/2″ expansion joint and sealant between the concrete footing and asphalt. The tubing is embedded in 3000 PSI concrete, extending 24 inches below the asphalt.

  3. Sign Mount – Concrete Surface: The right diagram depicts mounting on a concrete surface, employing a surface-mounted bracket. It uses 1.75″x1.75″ unistrut galvanized tubing and includes dia threaded rods with washers. The end section illustrates a surface mount base with a top plate measurement of 9”x 9”.
