A detailed technical drawing of a domestic hot water (DHW) valve installation. At the center is a 316 stainless steel high-performance butterfly valve. The valve is interconnected with copper pipes on either side, labeled “Copper Pipe.” The design features grooved joints and is supported by CTS copper companion flanges with fully floating powder-coated steel flanges fitted with neoprene insulators. The assembly includes ¾-inch brass nipples with male ends, with option for 3/4″ branch tee with male end. Separate 3/4″ female screwed brass ball valve is required. The diagram also shows threaded plug features and half-inch ball valve and cap types. Annotations provide guidance and reference specifications.
